Centre for Green Mobility is a non profit organisation focused on people first mobility. We work where everyday movement shapes access to work, education, care, and opportunity, across streets, public transport, public spaces, and policy systems.
Grounded in real world contexts, we combine design, communication, and institutional support to help walking, cycling, and public transport work better for people, at scale.
Everyone deserves the right to move safely, freely, and with dignity.
Movement shapes access to work, education, care, and everyday life.
When movement systems fail, people lose time, safety, opportunity, and independence.
We see this as a shared responsibility, not an acceptable trade-off.
We work across streets, transport, public spaces, policy, and communication to strengthen everyday mobility where it matters most.
We do not jump to answers. Each project begins with understanding context, future impact, and trade-offs.
Our inputs are grounded in evidence, lived experience, and what works in real cities.
Centre for Green Mobility began with a simple but urgent question:
Bankim leads Centre for Green Mobility with a focus on people first urban systems. His work spans mobility, public space, and planning initiatives across diverse city contexts. He works at the intersection of design, policy, and communication to help cities turn inclusive mobility ideas into everyday practice.
Avnish focuses on building partnerships and organisational systems that support long term impact. With experience across sustainability, technology, and strategy roles, he helps strengthen CGM’s institutional capacity and collaborative work with cities and partners.
Astha is an urban planner and designer working across India, the United States, and the Middle East. Her work covers neighbourhood planning, walking and cycling networks, transit oriented development, and public spaces, with an emphasis on inclusion and daily use.

Subhankar works on people centred street design, tactical urbanism, and public space projects across Indian cities. His practice combines design, research, and on ground experimentation to explore how everyday environments can become safer, more inclusive, and more responsive to community needs.

Baiju focuses on urban landscapes, ecological planning, and placemaking. His work explores how public spaces can respond to local climate, culture, and ecology, creating environments that are adaptable, resilient, and rooted in their context.

Priyadarshini works at the intersection of streets, public spaces, and visual communication. Her practice brings together design, wayfinding, and research to make mobility systems clearer, more accessible, and easier to use in everyday life.

Muskan keeps the organisation running smoothly behind the scenes. From managing day-to-day operations to supporting coordination across teams, she helps ensure that people can focus on their work without friction. Her role is central to keeping processes organised, timelines on track, and the team supported.

Aquib supports the organisation’s digital systems and technical infrastructure. He works on maintaining platforms, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that tools and systems function reliably for everyday work. His role helps keep communication, data, and workflows running without disruption.
Centre for Green Mobility is a Section 8 non profit organisation registered in India. We work across mobility, public spaces, policy advisory, communication, and research.
